Just out: Billy Blanks for Brother

Just out: new shots of Billy Blank for Brother's Business Series. You never know what you're going to get with celebrities (except a limited amount of time), but Billy was super nice and easy to work with. He was all about getting the shot done and getting it done right. More shots should be out soon.

New Men's Fashion for Boston Common Magazine

This men's fashion work features seven prominent men from Boston, including Scott Jones, chef at Menton, Associate Justice R. Malcolm Graham, Boston Fire Chief Joseph Finn, CEO of Zoo New England, John Linehan, Director of Youth Design, Tony Richards III, musician Simone Scazzocchio and founder of Divine Cycling, Andy Levine. It was a large shoot, over two days, with each portrait done with several outfits, in the studio and outside, and all the men had great attitudes and a healthy dose of humor too.

New Zipcar Campaign is Live!

I was happy to work on this fun new campaign for Zipcar. It was a big task to get everyone and everything coordinated (where to you find a rental tuba?) and the studio was jammed packed with people and things (crib, sofa, piƱata), but we had a great crew and super team from Zipcar and the shoot, which covered the models and all the stills, went smoothly. I'm excited to share it today!

More New Work for Design New England Magazine

I got to spend another great day outside with the Design New England crew, this time at Allandale Farms, Boston's last working farm. I photographed Lance Davis, one of the partners in Hive, a vintage Airstream bar on wheels, and several new drink recipes he developed for the article.

New Work for Boston Spirit Magazine

When I first photographed at Brooklyn Boulders, I knew the location would make a great fashion story. So it was gratifying when, months later, it all came together for this fun and athletic story.

New Work for Design New England

A beach shoot in May is always a great way to start the summer, and it's even better when the editors choose your image for the cover. These three tents were shot at the beautiful Crane's Beach.

AIDS Walk 2014

I was happy to work with Ricardo Rodriguez on this campaign for the AIDS Action Committee's 2014 Walk. What a great group he assembled for this project. Everyone brought something unique to their portrait and I love seeing them all together like this. Ricardo took the shot of me and, although I prefer the other side of the camera, I think he did a good job.

Marriage Equality Photographs in the Boston Globe Magazine

I couldn't be more proud to see these photographs I took for the Marriage Equality / 10th Anniversary Portraits show, opening on May 16th, in the Boston Globe Magazine. They are portraits of the seven plaintiffs and their families in the ground-breaking case, Goodridge vs. Massachusetts Depart of Public Health, which legalized same-sex marriage for the first time in the United States. Read their stories in the online article.

Marriage Equality/10th Anniversary Portraits

Busy getting ready for my new show: portraits of same-sex couples married in 2004, the very first year marriage equality was legal in Massachusetts - and the United States. I'm particularly happy I was able to photograph all seven of the plaintiffs in the Goodridge vs. Massachusetts Department of Public Health, which made this all possible. The show opens on May 16th at the Boston Center for Adult Education. Opening reception tickets are available at www.bcae.org and is a benefit for the BCAE.

Cover Shot: Improper Bostonian

What a lovely and gracious actress Kate Burton is. Actors always bring so much
to a shoot and she didn't disappoint. Now I'm a Scandal fan too!
