This was a great assignment: take a trip on the Conway Scenic Train in New Hampshire and photograph the trip. It was a beautiful day and one of my best summer excursions.
Plus, lunch in the dining car. And it made the cover!
New Spirit Magazine cover out this month. When I photographed Javier Pagan, one the first responders to the Boston bombings, I shot him from below and explained that this is called a "hero shot," but that usually I don't get to do it for real heros.
What a wonderful day in a magical garden in Providence, Rhode Island. Tucked away in the city, you'd never expect to find such a beautiful urban oasis, with it's many small areas, each with
different plants and style. It's always so interesting (and fun) to work with Design New England Magazine. The stories we do are so varied and my favorite seems to be always the last one I did, though this one will be hard to beat.
Great clothing in beautiful fabrics, now on sale for Father's Day from Osmium. They are a favorite client and a favorite go-to for great shirts and pants.
My interview, along with John O'Connell, with Charlotte Robinson, is up on the Huffington Post today. I'm excited for the show's opening tomorrow night. We've chosen 26 images, including nine large portraits from this two-year-and-going project, The Bear Sessions. Tickets for the opening night reception, which is a benefit for the Boston Center for Adult Education, can be purchased at BCAE.org. The show runs through June 21st.
